We make fewer things, and we mend them
NorthLoom started with one jumper and a complaint: everything good had got thin. So we make small runs of heavy things, and we fix them free for as long as you own them.
120
pieces in a typical run
4
machinists, one floor
1,840
garments repaired since 2019
Traceable fibres
Every garment lists its mill. Our merino comes from one spinner in Kandy; our cotton from a co-op outside Tirupur.
Cut here
Patterns are cut and sewn above the shop on Barnes Place. Nothing is subcontracted, so a pattern fix lands in the next run.
Repaired free
Bring anything back, however old. Darning, re-stitching and replacement buttons cost nothing, forever.
Come and see the floor
The workshop is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am–6pm. No appointment needed.
